WeTek and the creators of the Linux-based operating system, which was designed specifically for running the Kodi media center software, have recently introduced a new piece of hardware called the WeTek OpenELEC Box. The WeTek OpenELEC Box is designed to make streaming video, media, and audio easy. Different versions of the box are available, each equipped with either a DVB or ATSC tuner. Although no official hardware specifications have been announced by OpenELEC, the hardware box appears to be based on the same components as the WeTek Play.
